This policy covers SupplyNearMe.com, its browser-based supplier app, and the Supply Near Me iOS/iPadOS app published by HockeyApps (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”). The native iOS app and the website use different services, explained below. This policy covers Supply Near Me; other HockeyApps products may have their own notices.

1. The Supply Near Me iOS app
The current native app does not require an account, contain third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites. We do not receive your device location, stock lists, company profile, selected logo, or search history through an app-operated server. The supplier directory is bundled with the app. Apple services and actions you choose can involve data transfers as described below.
Location and place searches
When you tap the current-location button and grant permission, Apple’s Location Services provides a location estimate. The app uses it on your device to calculate distances to suppliers. It does not upload that estimate to HockeyApps or SupplyNearMe.com, save a location history, or request background location updates.
When you enter a street address, city, or ZIP code, the app sends that search text to Apple’s geocoding service to obtain coordinates. Apple processes its services under its own privacy terms. Your search text is not sent to our servers. Location permission is optional: you can deny it and search by entering a place.
Company information, logos, and stock lists
Information you enter is saved in app storage on your device. This can include your company name, address, phone, email, website and selected logo; customer or job names, site addresses and contacts; material descriptions, part numbers, quantities, prices and dates. We use this information locally to provide saved lists and create your PDFs; we do not receive a copy through the app.
The company-logo feature uses Apple’s photo picker to access the image you select. It does not require access to your entire photo library. The chosen image is stored locally for your company profile and documents.
Directions, calls, links, printing, and sharing
Only when you choose an action, the app opens the selected phone, map, website, share, or print service. Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze can receive the selected destination; your chosen map service may also use your starting location under its own permissions. A called business receives the information normally associated with a call. A website you open receives normal web-request information.
When you share, save, or print a stock-list PDF, the receiving app, file service, person, or printer gets the document and the information you included. We do not receive a copy through the app. You control the destination; delete exported or shared copies separately from the saved list.
2. SupplyNearMe.com and the browser app
Browser location and searches
With browser permission, the website’s supplier app uses your location in your browser to calculate distances. The supplier app does not send those device coordinates to our supplier-search server or maintain a location history. A recent search center may remain in the browser tab’s session storage until you clear the location or the browser ends that session.
Typed street-address or city searches are sent to Photon, an OpenStreetMap-based geocoding service; typed ZIP-code lookups are sent to Zippopotam.us. These requests include the search text and normal network-request information, such as your IP address. Recent typed lookup results may be cached in your browser. The native iOS app uses Apple geocoding instead of these website services.
Browser storage, technical records, advertising, and cookies
The browser app saves company details, selected logos, and stock lists in that browser’s local storage. These records are not uploaded as a supplier-app account. Clearing site data, using a different browser or device, or private-browsing settings can remove them or make them unavailable. Export important documents before clearing storage.
Our hosting and security services process ordinary request information, which can include IP address, requested page, date/time, browser/device information, and referring page, to deliver the website, troubleshoot problems, and prevent abuse.
The website displays third-party advertising and includes Google advertising/analytics tags. Google and advertising partners may receive cookie or similar identifiers, IP address, device/browser details, and page or ad interactions to provide, measure, and personalize advertising, depending on their settings and your choices. Providers may relate this activity to activity on other websites. These website tags are not embedded advertising or analytics SDKs in the native iOS app. Opening this website from the app is a website visit and can invoke these website practices.
Manage cookies and site storage in your browser and advertising preferences through Google My Ad Center. Blocking cookies may affect website features. See Google’s Privacy Policy. Affiliate links, including Amazon links, can also send ordinary referral and request information to the destination when opened.
3. Contacting us and sharing information
If you email us or use the contact form, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email, subject, message, and any attachments. We use them to answer your request, provide support, address privacy questions, and maintain necessary support or legal records. Our hosting and email providers process this information to deliver those services. Do not send passwords or information you do not want included in your support request.
We do not sell or rent your support correspondence, company profiles, or stock lists. Website advertising disclosures above describe the separate handling of online advertising identifiers and browsing activity. We may disclose information where needed to provide a service you request, comply with law, or protect rights and security.
When we engage a service provider to process personal information on our behalf, we require the provider to use it only for the agreed purpose and provide protections at least equivalent to those stated in this policy and required by applicable law and Apple’s privacy guidelines. Independently selected map, phone, website, sharing, and printing destinations handle the information you choose to send under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not authorize providers to use app-local records for unrelated purposes.
Relevant provider notices include Apple’s Privacy Policy, Google’s Privacy Policy, and Waze’s Privacy Policy.
4. Retention, deletion, and your choices
- Native app records: Saved lists and company information remain on your device until you remove them. Swipe left to delete saved lists in Stock Lists. Clear the company fields and choose Remove logo in Company Info. Deleting the app removes its app-managed local storage; offloading the app can retain its data.
- Website records: Delete saved browser lists and clear company fields in the browser app, or clear this site’s cookies and website data to remove local storage and cached searches. Use Clear location to remove the browser app’s current search center.
- Backups and exported copies: Device/iCloud backups, files you saved, shared documents, and recipients’ copies are managed separately. Apple or your chosen backup/file service controls its retention. Delete copies and backups using the relevant device or service controls; removing an app record does not recall copies already shared.
- Permission and consent: Turn location permission off in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Supply Near Me, or in your browser’s website permissions. iOS also lets you limit precise location. These choices do not prevent typed-place search. Stop a third-party action by not choosing it; previously sent data may remain subject to that service’s retention policy.
- Server-held information: We retain support records and technical/security records only for as long as reasonably needed to resolve requests, operate and protect the service, maintain necessary records, and meet legal obligations. Information no longer needed is deleted or de-identified; backup copies age out under the relevant backup process. Advertising and other independent providers apply their own retention controls.

5. Security and children’s privacy
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and service, including HTTPS for the website. Local app and browser information is also subject to your device’s security and backup settings. Protect your device with a passcode and review the contents of documents before sharing. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Supply Near Me is a general HVAC supplier and stock-list utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
